George Rizsanyi is a luthier who treads a different path. While he learned his craft in the shops of traditional master makers, his own practice has moved him to new places. The box and neck adhere to the shape and structure necessary for a guitar but they also present the creative opportunity to explore diverse materials, colour, and pattern
with a variety of woods, and make an instrument that is both visually and functionally exceptional.
