Making Made Visible: The Craft Work of Marginalized Women

At the Studio, each woman has her own challenges and strengths, as well as a differing sense of aesthetics and level of skill. By supporting a diverse group of makers, the Studio embodies and promotes a slice of urban Canada that is often sidelined. This craftwork, then, can be seen as a sort of advocacy that the Studio pursues for the women
and that the women pursue for themselves.
